Fear not - ESL One Frankfurt is coming back in 2016! We are happy to reveal that the Commerzbank-Arena in Frankfurt will once more host the ESL One Frankfurt 2016 Dota 2 festivities, offering fans, spectators and players an event to remember from June the 18th to the 19th!
As per ESL One tradition, the eight best Dota 2 teams in the world will be competing for US$250,000 plus community contributions in front of a stadium crowd full of esports fans. There will be a selection of invited teams as well as qualifiers for the remaining open spots. More detailed information regarding the invites and qualifiers will be released in January next year.
ESL One Frankfurt 2016 marks the final milestone on the one million dollars in Dota 2 prize money pledge made almost a year ago, spanning ESL One competitions all over the world from Frankfurt, New York and all the way to Manila. Such an occasion deserves some special treatment, and in 2016 the Commerzbank-Arena will harbor a huge screen of more than 500 square meters, the biggest Dota 2 has ever seen - even bigger than the one used back in 2014!
But that’s not all. ESL One is about more than just the games themselves, and we will be offering a wide array of side activities in addition to the Dota 2 action on the big screen. This will include the official Valve Secret Shop, signing sessions with the pros, airbrush tattoos from your favorite teams, a cosplay competition, the return of our beloved balloon man Daniel “FuDD” Ravia, various sponsor activities, an archery range, a gladiator showdown, scavenger hunts and a unique virtual reality experience. With attractions like these, you do not want to miss out!
Tickets for the event will go on sale on December the 17th 2015, with the following ticket types to be available:

- Infield Seating ticket - €39
- Premium ticket - €249 (exclusive signing sessions, exclusive Secret Shop, unlimited food and drink)
