The dust has settled, and many Protoss fought and died on the field of battle today as two of the most dominant players of recent times attempted to etch their names into the history books. Both Kim "herO" Joon Ho and Kim "sOs" Yoo Jin had already proven themselves more than worthy, but only one could take home the World Championship and US$100,000 in prize money.
But many more players have participated in this week's tournament, and they shall not be forgotten for their part in our journey to crown an Intel Extreme Masters World Champion. Dennis "HasuObs" Schneider took the Koreans right to the limit, going all the way to the Open Bracket winners' final before being shut down by Ko "HyuN"Seok Hyun and mousesports teammate Baek "Dear" Dong Jun, while Choi "Polt" Seong Hun played out some amazing series against Dear and herO on his way to the semifinals.
