One of the biggest esports events of the year is coming up with Intel® Extreme Masters Katowice, making it the perfect time to showcase the application process for any casters that are interested in covering the CS:GO, PUBG and StarCraft II action.
Application
Step one is the simple application as a sanctioned broadcaster for ESL events.
- If you would like to broadcast our content, the first step is to become an ESL partner with us on Twitch.
- If you are not a partner at the moment, please send an email to [email protected]. Include as much information about your content as possible, including as much information on yourself and your channel as possible.
- Once you have emailed us, an account manager will get back to you as soon as possible on the next steps to secure your application.
- Once you are all setup and onboarded, you will gain access to various features and benefits listed below.
(If you are interested in purchasing the rights to our content, please make this clear as this is a slightly different process)
Benefits
Once an ESL partner on Twitch, you’ll be provided with a variety of goodies to help the broadcasting process.
- A newly created “ESL” branded Twitch channel.
- Access to our internal partner communications tool.
- Be notified of all our events and be able to sign up as a potential broadcaster for that event.
- The ability to broadcast official ESL content if chosen.
- Access to other casting opportunities only available to ESL partners.
Process
The final step will be the selection process of all event broadcasters that have shown interest in covering the tournament.
- Once you gain access to our internal communications tool, you will be able to fill out a form to sign-up as a potential broadcaster for that event.
- Here you will answer some questions such as your name, Twitch channel, email, language, and what events you would like to cover.
- After the broadcasters have been chosen for a specific event, everyone will be notified.
- The number of broadcasters necessary will vary depending on the event, language, and region.
We hope this serves well as a quick guide to those interested in upcoming events such as IEM Katowice, as well as future events down the line.
