Here at gamescom 2014 we’ve gathered some the best teams in the world to show off the unreleased Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare to the world, as it is played by professionals. To kick off the first day of the convention, top teams Hypergames, Vitality, TCM Gaming and Curse will be demonstrating the new features of the game in a series of highly interesting showmatches.

The focus of today’s showmatches will be the all-new exo suits - futuristic bodysuits introduced in this latest installment of the Call of Duty series which enhance the players’ combat abilities. These suits provide interesting additional battle opportunities for the player as they allow them to cloak, rip off car doors to shield themselves with and utilize superhuman reflexes, seemingly slowing down the world around them.

However, the key enhancement exoskeletons bring to the soldier is their increased maneuverability - by being able to jump higher and walk faster, mobility on the battlefield becomes an even bigger factor. Players will be able to access places they wouldn’t have been able to without the suits’ help as well as change their position in the blink of an eye, thus gaining vital combat advantages.

To watch as professional Call of Duty Players test this awesome new feature, make sure to tune in to the showmatches tonight as these world-class teams show you just how much exoskeletons allow you to do. The action will be commentated by none other than, Benjamin "Benson" Bowe, Alex, "Goldenboy" Mendez, Mike "Hastro" Rufail and "Marius "Jamarz" Westlund.

The first showmatch of the day will see Hypergames, a team newly formed this year, face off against Vitality - the créme de la créme of France when it comes to Call of Duty - a match that will surely show off some cool ways to use the new features.

Afterwards TCM Gaming will meet Curse in the second showmatch of the day - both teams are long established in the Call of Duty scene and will put up a good fight against one another. Overall, there is probably no better way to be introduced to the proper use of exoskeletons in Advanced Warfare!
