In Week 3 of the Mortal Kombat X Pro League, all eyes were set on the veterans of the season: SonicFox, UA Scar, cR_Biohazard and YOMI_Saltface. Each player was undoubtedly pushed to their limit in perhaps the most intense top eight of Season 3, yet SonicFox was crowned the king of Week 3 by eliminating one of his oldest rivals, cR_WoundCowboy, in this week's Finals.
WoundCowboy, one of the few players to earn a spot in the Season 2 Finals, made his Season 3 debut a fight to remember by closing out a sweep against fellow teammate Biohazard.

After an unbelievably close set between Saltface and Scar in Week 2 in which Scar took the win, it seemed that Saltface’s wish for a runback was granted. Saltface did not take this rematch for granted as he fought his way to a swift 2-0 lead. However, UA_Scar switched up his gameplan and with the perfect blend of patience and aggression Scar managed to close out the set 3-2 after both players were down to mere pixels of life.

The Week 3 Finals reignited the old rivalry of SonicFox and WoundCowboy. Despite their run-ins at tournaments in the past, WoundCowboy sent a strong statement by taking game one against the defending champion. However, SonicFox ended up taking the set 3-1, ultimately winning not only the weekly first place prize of $500.00 USD, but also ranking points to further secure his spot in the Season 3 Finals.
