The final two WCS spots have been determined

The round of 32's final show has been finished, with the last two spots - number 15 and 16 - at stake. MMA, the champion of Europe's last season in 2013, was the top favorite for one of the two remaining spots. Aside from VortiX and MC, the Korean Terran is one of only three players who advanced to the season playoffs twice last year.

However, his European opponents were a bit of alright, too. In 2013, Welmu made it to the playoffs of the second season and Starbuck made it to the round of 16 in his very first Premier League season, where he lost to MMA. History repeated itself, when Starbuck lost 1:2 in the fifth and final match against MMA, who tripped over Welmu and almost missed round of 16

The best players of WCS Europe will meet in our studios to compete for 2014's first season title. Round of 16 will take place from March the 25th to the 28th, the League Finals of WCS Europe following two weeks later on April 12th and 13th. Once again, James "Kaelaris" Carrol, Shaun "Apollo" Clark, Paul "ReDeYe" Chaloner and guests will welcome you and top players in ESL TV's studio. Be our guest and join us in ESL Studio One for the round of 16 and the Finals. Get your ticket at wcseurope.eventbrite.com.
