Today, we are very pleased to officially launch our ESL Play app. Over the past months, more than 18,000 players have helped us fine tune the app during beta and prepare for the official release. From now on, every ESL Play user is able to make their smartphone their ESL companion during tournaments and much more.

The ESL Play app features:

• Signing up and checking in for ESL Play cups
• Creating and managing of your teams
• Checking current and past cups you took part in
• Keeping an eye on your past and upcoming matches
• Reporting results and uploading matchmedia

The initial features of the ESL Play app will make playing on ESL a lot easier, as you don’t need to navigate our website for a good amount of features. Even though the app does not yet give you all options of our website, there are a lot more features in development to make playing on ESL Play even easier.

Philip Heltweg, Product Owner ESL mobile, said the following about the release:
"After responding to community feedback and adding team functionality during the public beta, we are happy to officially release the ESL Play App today. It will make signing up and playing matches on ESL Play easier than ever before, especially for mobile games. We will continue to improve the experience by providing better push notifications and profile management in the near future before expanding to include other league types like ladders."
