Thanks to all who tuned in for the inaugural ESL King of the Hill tournament series for Hearthstone and Overwatch. Each week, the winner of an open qualifier went up against an invited player or team to fight for a chance to usurp the King of the Hill and win cash prizes. Over the course of three months, hundreds of players and teams signed up for the open cups and over $10,000 was awarded to the weekly winners. Here's a closer look at ESL King of the Hill.
HEARTHSTONE
Janetzky and Ostkaka took home $1,000 each after two ESL King of the Hill wins for Hearthstone. In the end, it was open cup winner Rage who snagged the final title in the closing week.
OVERWATCH
Complexity Gaming and FaZe Clan both held the #ESLKotH title for Overwatch for three consecutive weeks, but it was Complexity who clinched the final win.
