Yesterday, July 9, the world’s biggest CS:GO tournament, ESL One Cologne powered by Intel, concluded after six days packed with top-notch CS:GO action delivered by 16 teams from around the world. One of those teams proved to be above everyone else as they defeated opponent after opponent to finally raise the coveted trophy in the sold-out LANXESS Arena - congratulations to SK Gaming!
SK Gaming met with Cloud9 in the grand final. The North American squad impressed everyone with their performance, reaching their first ever ESL One final. The game itself was a rematch from the ESL Pro League Season 4 final in Brazil, where Cloud9 defeated SK on the latter's’ home turf. This time, the Brazilians got their revenge.
