After the relegation for Stage 2, the cream of the crop in European Call of Duty will take to the stage to fight for the title of European Call of Duty World League Stage 1 champion on Saturday and Sunday. Over the last couple of days, we’ve given you all the details on the participants as well as the broadcast crew, but now it’s time to head into the action as the teams fight for a total prize pool of US$200,000 as well as the Stage 1 trophy!
On Saturday, it will be the sixth to third placed teams going head to head for the chance to make it to the semifinals. While Splyce and exceL are not that far off from each other in the rankings and might bring us a real thriller, TCM are going into their series against Epsilon as the clear underdog - but we should have seen enough dark horse victories in the past to not count them out yet!
Saturday, March 26th
- 17:00 CET: Quarterfinal one: Splyce vs. exceL eSports
- 20:00 CET: Quarterfinal two: Epsilon eSports vs. TCM Gaming
With a win rate of 83.3%, both Infused and Millenium have really worked hard for their spots at the top and can lean back on Saturday and see their potential opponents face off. On Sunday, it will be time for them to take on the winners of Saturday’s matches for a shot at the title. Will they be able to once more keep the other teams at distance and meet each other in the grand final?
Sunday, March 27th
- 15:00 CET: Semifinal one: Team Infused vs. quarterfinal one winner
- 18:00 CET: Semifinal two: Millenium vs. quarterfinal two winner
- 21:00 CET: Grand Final: Semifinal one winner vs. semifinal two winner
