As with years prior, SAP data analytics will provide fans with deeper insights into the world of professional Dota 2, using technology to create interesting insights about players’ and teams’ in- game performances. Coming to this year's ESL One tournaments, there are a number of fan favourites and also new features, including player KPI records, item timings and records, lineup characteristics, historical win probabilities and net worth progression graphs. SAP will leverage its SAP HANA® in-memory technology on the SAP Cloud Platform in order to provide this variety of live broadcast overlays with relevant data points throughout all phases of Dota 2 matches.
In making use of these valuable features, ESL and SAP will be aiming to enhance the viewing experience for all Dota 2 fans across the globe.
