Over the weekend, the top four PC Rainbow Six Siege teams across Europe and North America met in Cologne, Germany to battle it out for the very first Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege PC championship title and a share of the US$50,000 prize pool. PENTA Sports were the frontrunners all season long, earning the #1 seed with 15 league points. They went into the Finals with a lot of confidence and a lot to prove, and didn’t disappoint. Here’s a look at how it all happened.

PENTA Sports went into the first match of the night with the #1 seed against North American VwS Gaming. The European frontrunners quickly established their dominance, sweeping the North American team 2-0.

The second battle of the night was an evenly-matched nail-biter between the Finnish team GiFu and North American frontrunners OrbitGG. It was looking good for OrbitGG early on, as they danced in celebration after taking the first map.

But the party was premature and Gifu ultimately pushed the match into overtime, beating OrbitGG 3-2 and moving on to the grand finals against PENTA Sports.

The North American teams reigned supreme at the Xbox One Rainbow Six Pro League Finals, but the reverse was true for the PC Finals, with the top European teams facing off for the championship title. Although the rounds were close, PENTA Sports displayed the same dominance they showed all season and swept the match 2-0, becoming the very first PC Rainbow Six champions!
