Over $1,700,000 and counting up for grabs in the Halo World Championship!

The prize pool for the Halo World Championship 2016 started out at a cool US$1,000,000. Now, thanks to community contributions in the form of REQ Pack purchases, that amount has risen to over US$1,700,000 - and it’s still rising. With so much on the line and only sixteen slots with which to try and win it, you’d better be ready if you’re planning on pursuing it.

Teams

Sixteen teams from five regions will be taking part in the Halo World Championship:

  • Eight teams from North America
  • Four teams from Europe, the Middle East and Africa
  • One team from Latin America
  • One team from Asia
  • Two teams from Australia and New Zealand

Every team that manages to qualify for the Halo World Championship will get to take home at least US$15,000 (1% of the current prize pool), and with around US$680,000 currently set aside for the overall winner there’s plenty to play for no matter how far you get.
