Over 1 million viewers, 2,000 balloons and a whole lot of beer: the ESL One Frankfurt 2015 infographic

On the 20th and 21st of June 2015, the Commerzbank Arena in Frankfurt, Germany, was the site of ESL One Frankfurt, Europe’s biggest Dota 2 competition. With over one million peak concurrent viewers on Twitch, it was watched online by almost 80% more people than last year’s iteration, with the 15,000 people who attended the event in person each day consuming 10,400 liters of beer between them throughout the weekend.

Ulrich Schulze, director of pro gaming at ESL, said of the event:

"We are immensely proud of what we were able to create in Frankfurt this year. Everyone really came together to, in their own way, make the event as special as it was. A huge thank you to everyone involved behind the scenes, to the players, sponsors, and of course, most importantly, the Dota 2 fans!"

With a total of US$298,135 in prize money to compete for, competition was fierce, resulting in some truly impressive in-game statistics as well - find them all in our ESL One Frankfurt 2015 infographic below!
