After a series of qualifiers as well as the European and North American regionals, the Evolve Proving Grounds tournament will conclude tomorrow with a grand final in Los Angeles. Online qualifiers were held to determine the four participating teams, with clashes in LAN regionals in the ESL studios in Cologne, Germany, and Burbank, USA. The regionals determined the best two European and top two North American teams, who will soon battle it out in Los Angeles in front of a live audience for their share of an incredible US$100,000 prize pool.
The European finalists are Dark Elites and SHLINGUE EVO, with Dark Elites currently tipped as the favorites. The team dropped only a single game during the LAN regionals, doing so in the very last match versus SHLINGUE EVO.
The North American finalists are EvolveHype and Vanquish. EvolveHype came into the regional finals as the favorites and they lived up to the name. Dropping one game along the way, they were the first to qualify for the grand finals. Vanquish followed after emerging victorious from the loser’s bracket.
Now, it is time to determine the world’s best monsters and hunters in the Evolve Proving Grounds tournament. The finalists will face each other onstage and deliver top-notch Evolve action. Who will earn the biggest share of the US$100,000 prize pool?
