Introducing the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Pro League

Ubisoft, Xbox and ESL are pleased to announce that the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Pro League will begin in the first weeks of March, 2016. On the 4th of March, right at the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship in Katowice, Poland the competition officially kicks off in front of the phenomenal crowd. The European PC players will showcase their skills and give us a taste of what’s to come with Rainbow Six Pro League!

As a global competition program for both Xbox One and PC players of Rainbow Six, this new league marks an unprecedented commitment by Ubisoft and ESL to support the burgeoning Rainbow Six Siege community and will provide a platform for both casual and aspiring pro players to flex their competitive muscles.

Xavier Marquis, creative director of Rainbow Six Siege at Ubisoft Montreal, said the following of the newly announced Rainbow Six Pro League:

The first season of the Rainbow Six Pro League kicks off in Europe and North America in March. The premier at Intel Extreme Masters World Championship on the 4th of March will see a total of eight matches from the European PC competition, only days before the competition on both PC and Xbox One takes off in Europe and North America.

The Rainbow Six Pro League will see the top eight teams from each region and platform clash. Only the regional top two on PC as well as Xbox One will advance to the Season Finals with a shot at a prize pool of US$100,000 in total.

Players can already register at play.eslgaming.com/rainbowsix and take part in weekly community cups and way more coming up.
