After expanding the Open Bracket, we’re now happy to say that we’re also increasing the FFA cap from 192 to 288 players! Here’s everything you need to know about the DreamHack Atlanta Halo 5 FFA, which kicks off at 11AM Eastern tomorrow in the ESL Halo tournament area.
FFA REGISTRATION
If you have already registered online AND checked in here in Atlanta, you are guaranteed a spot in the FFA. Be ready to play in the pit by 11AM on the dot.
If you registered online after the original cap was reached but have not checked in here in Atlanta, be sure to secure your FFA spot by checking in from 8AM-10AM in the Georgia World Congress Center lobby. Check-in will close at exactly 10AM. If you arrive after 10AM to check-in, you will be placed at the bottom of the waitlist.
WAITLIST
If you registered for the FFA onsite on Friday and are on the waitlist, you must be present in the lobby at 10:30AM to check-in. Spots in the tournament are not guaranteed and will go to those who signed up first on the waitlist.
Any players who register for the first time on Saturday during the 8AM-10AM period will be added to the bottom of a waitlist, and are not guaranteed a spot in the tournament.
TUNE IN
The Open and Championship Bracket will be live on the Halo Twitch channel and ESL Halo Facebook page starting at 7AM Pacific/10AM Eastern! Watch the action live from the showfloor or online, and follow along for highlights and additional content on the ESL Halo Twitter and Facebook.
