This Saturday, the ESL studios in Leicester will play host the second FIA Formula E Championship Race Off. Starting at 13:00 CET (12:00 GMT), talented Formula E drivers Sam Bird and Jerome D’Ambrosio will not only be going head to head on the virtual track but will also be joined by a variety of other top Forza Motorsport 6 drivers for even more high-speed action.
In a total of four races throughout the afternoon, six of the best Forza Motorsport 6 drivers and their teams will fight for the trophy as well as Xbox One Elite controllers for the entire winning lineup. The commentators will also be joined by the Formula E drivers themselves for further analysis in between races.
For those at home, there’s still a chance to get directly involved in the action. Throughout the show, viewers will be asked a series of questions on Twitch and Twitter - and getting them right might result in you getting on the virtual track with Jerome D’Ambrosio and Sam Bird in between the official competition races!
Highlights from the first Race Off
Jerome D’Ambrosio had the following to say about the upcoming event:
“It’s going to be interesting - racing drivers are always competitive, so we’ll both want to win, but it’s going to be so much fun. Some of the gamers are really, really good, and I think that it’s a real challenge for us even being racing drivers. I’m looking forward to sharing a different experience with professional gamers - gaming is getting more and more realistic so it will be interesting to see how it unfolds.”
Make sure to follow the action from 13:00 CET (12:00 GMT) on the ESL event Twitch.tv channel for your chance to win a spot in the Race Offs with Jerome D’Ambrosio and Sam Bird as well as get your hands on some cool Logitch prizes.
