After Call of Duty recently announced their CoD World League Challenger Division, we are happy to unveil our very own Challenger Division online events on ESL Play. The Challenger Division Tier 2 events are open to any team, making it the perfect challenge for all up and coming teams to test their skills against the pros.
For those unfamiliar with the newly created Call of Duty World League Challenge Division, it is a series of open online and LAN tournaments where teams earn points based on their performance. This will, ultimately, be their chance to qualify for the Call of Duty Championship. The top four ranked teams based on Challenger Points from each region will also get the chance to compete for a spot in the next stage of the Pro Division by taking part in the Relegation Tournament.
And now it’s time for European Challenge Division teams to start collecting valuable Challenge Points with our European CWL Challenge Division online events. Simply sign up to our ESL Play tournaments for your chance to battle the pros and earn a chunk of the US$5,000 prize pool at each of the events.
- ESL CWL Challenge Division Tier 2 Event #1 Europe - 20th to 21st February
- ESL CWL Challenge Division Tier 2 Event #2 Europe - 27th to 28th of February
- ESL CWL Challenge Division Tier 2 Event #3 Europe - 12th to 13th of March
All tournaments are single elimination and will have a 512 team limit. You will have to be 18+ and a legal resident in the EU to enter. You will find the extended ruleset on the tournament pages and in our FAQ.
