Flipsid3 Tactics, 3sUP Enterprises, and Soar Gaming controlled their own fates this weekend and after coming up short they saw their LAN dreams disappear as they were overtaken by Continuum and Onslaught Clan. In 3sUP’s case they came as close as they possibly could to LAN with one round to go before losing 6-5. There was plenty of heartbreak this week in the North American Rainbow Six Pro League, but it was matched with elation as we head to the Season 3 Finals in Poland this November.

What a crazy ending! @nobleprogaming get the job done on Hereford. Who is going to take Consulate?https://t.co/Yi3Qan5TNV#R6PL pic.twitter.com/3SVgu8LjkI

In the biggest upset of the week, Noble Esports played spoiler to Soar Gaming. Not only did they take both maps, but their win on Consulate in the second gaming looked clean. First up was Hereford base. Soar knew they needed as many points as possible to secure their flight to Poland and seemed to crumble under the pressure. They lost Hereford Base in overtime and shut down after that. Noble came back and won Consulate 5-2 knocking Soar out of playoff contention.
ANNIHILATION! @3supenterprises get the win over @exgamingllc! The most important map of the season is next!https://t.co/Yi3Qan5TNV#R6PL pic.twitter.com/eZL6TaoMH9

With Soar out and a 2-0 win for Onslaught Clan over Lethal Gaming, 3sUP needed to win both maps to secure their spot. Hereford Base went as well as it could have for 3sUP as they won 5-0 and Onslaught were kissing their plane tickets goodbye. Excellence battled back on Bank. It was always within two rounds as they fought back and forth. Excellence had two separate map points before 3sUP made it to round eleven, but they fell in the last possible round to Excellence and failed to make it to LAN.
Offstream, Strictly Business took down ex-Denial Esports 2-0

A 4k and a trade and a plant and a win for @eanixgg!https://t.co/Yi3Qan5TNV#R6PL pic.twitter.com/vgldEkq5OB

Continuum needed at least one point with some losses from Flipsid3 or three points to force Flipsid3 into a corner. Continuum opened on Clubhouse with two near-perfect rounds that set the tone for the rest of the series. Eanix tried to stay afloat as long as they could, but were drowned in a sea of bullets as they lost Clubhouse 5-2 and Bank shortly after, 5-1.
Orgless punch Continuum's ticket to LAN with a 5-3 win on Clubhouse!https://t.co/Yi3Qan5TNV#R6PL pic.twitter.com/4fJlHw1LtV

With the Continuum victory, Flipsid3 needed to win back-to-back games over Orgless to make it to LAN, a feat that hasn’t been accomplished by any team since Season 1. Flipsid3 poured it on one game too late as Orgless picked up Clubhouse 5-3 to start the series only to have Flipsid3 come back with a 5-0 stomping on Chalet. The never say die attitude from Flipsid3 should serve them well as they look ahead to Season 4. For now they will have to watch from the sidelines.
Offstream, Lunatik fell to MiLSPEC 0-2 and Ferocity Esports tied Miner Esports 1-1.
