Frankfurt Major presented by ESL delivered another day of great Dota 2 action. Two teams advanced to the upper bracket semifinals and two teams were eliminated from the tournament. It was favorites in the form of Team Secret and Vici Gaming who prevailed in the upper bracket, defeating Mineski and Virtus.pro respectively on the way.
In the lower bracket, we saw the wondrous undergods from Peru, Team Unknown, who eliminated the Chinese team Newbee the day before. Unfortunately, the underdog story ended today as Team Unknown fell to LGD Gaming 0-2.

The battle for the trophy continues today
Frankfurt Major resumes today at 10:30 CET. We will first see Mineski take on OG followed by Virtus.pro vs. Alliance in the lower bracket. Later in the day, the upper bracket semifinals will be played out with Evil Geniuses facing CDEC Gaming (TI5 rematch, anyone?) and Vici Gaming facing Team Secret.
