EU Masters is back for its fourth season with Summer 2019. The best 20 teams from Europe’s Regional Leagues clash in a three week long battle royale as they vie for the crown of European Masters and their share of the 150,000 Euros prize pool. With one third of this season’s LEC players having played in the European Regional Leagues (ERLs) within the past 12 months, all eyes will be on the event as we watch the LEC stars of the future battle it out on the Rift.
Seven ERLs will send their runner-ups to the Play-In stage starting on September 9th as they battle for one of three spots in the Group Stage, looking to join the 13 champions from across Europe in the toughest competition outside of the LEC.
For the first time the Group Stage will be seeded based off of previous finishes by each region in past European Masters events, as we look to level up the competition and ensure high quality gameplay throughout the competition with teams also having a single spot in the group stage.
The Group Stage will take place over four days from September 16th to September 19th and feature four best-of-1 round robin groups with the top two teams from each group proceeding to the Knockouts on the weekend of September 21st and 22nd.
A victory in a high intensity best-of-3 will land you in the live finals, in a soon to be announced location, where teams will battle it out in a best-of-5 Semi-Finals for the first time in EU Masters history on Saturday September 28th, before the Finals on Sunday September 29th.
