We’re pleased to announce that the ESL Arena will have a stage at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, on March the 4th in order to bring you a €15,000 League of Legends tournament as well as an accompanying conference that will feature interviews with pro players, ESL partners and more.
The League of Legends tournament will be split in two parts - an amateur tournament and a professional tournament which will feature two of the biggest Spanish League of Legends teams: Origen, led by Enrique “xPeke” Cedeño Martínez, and Gamers2, captained by Carlos “ocelote” Rodriguez Santiago. €10,000 will go to the winner of the pro finals, second place will receive €2,000 and the amateur portion of the event pays out €3,000 to its champions.
If you’re part of a Spanish team who wants to seize their chance and play for €3,000 on the big stage, sign up to the open qualifiers which are taking place on February the 21st and the 22nd to try and be one of the two teams to perform at the Mobile World Congress. However, if you’d rather follow the event from home, you can tune in to our livestream to catch all the action there.

The one-day event will feature two best of three series, one each for the amateur and the pro tournaments. Check below for a detailed schedule of the event.

- 09:30 to 10:30: First amateur final match
- 10:30 to 11:30: Second amateur final match
- 11:30 to 12:30: Third amateur final match
- 12:30 to 12:45: Award ceremony and interviews
- 12:45 to 13:30: Pro players warm-up
- 13:30 to 14:30: First pro players invitational match
- 15:30 to 16:30: Second pro invitational match
- 16:30 to 17:00: Award ceremony and interviews

- 10:00 to 13:00: Networking, pro player interviews and ESL VIPs
