Since its release, ESL Counter-Strike game integration has constantly evolved to suit your needs. Besides checking for results and monitoring the use of ESL Anticheat, it has gained a lot of new features to help you to focus on playing rather than admin. With this latest update, we’re striving to help make the process even more streamlined.
Coaching during ESL matches
The topic of coaching has become bigger and bigger in all esports, and CS:GO in particular. To support this, we have now added coach slots for all team competitions on ESL (3on3 and 5on5). If you want to bring in your coach or any other player on your team account, you can now have them help you directly from the server itself. Of course, the coach has to meet the same restrictions as any other player and needs a valid Steam account linked to their ESL profile as well as have ESL Anticheat running throughout the match.
Live scores on ESL Play
Especially during cups, it has always been a bit of a waiting game when it comes to finding out when your potential opponents are done with their current match. Now you can check any running match to see the score displayed live, thus giving you some idea of when your next match might be ready to play.
Additional server locations for all matches
Last but not least, we are happy to welcome Fragnet as the new server provider for ESL CS:GO. From now on, all European matches will get a suitable server hosted in Amsterdam, Frankfurt or Stockholm so you and your opponents have the best possible connection. Don’t worry if those locations aren’t ideal for you, though, as Fragnet has even more available that can be added if needed.
