On the 16th of November, ESL and Nine Dots Studio will join forces to a one of a kind space-based esports event, which will see teams take to the stars to compete for a cash prize and the honor of being named the very first GoD Factory: Wingmen champions.

With free copies of the game being offered to the first 12 teams who sign up, €200 on the line and thrilling space battles to be won, it’s the perfect opportunity to get involved and take your shot at helping shape the beginnings of a competitive scene for a great space combat title.

What is GoD Factory: Wingmen?

GoD Factory: Wingmen is a fast-paced competitive space combat game in which teams of four face off against each other in order to destroy the opposition’s carrier ship and protect their own. Sleek, colourful and dynamic, players are able to fully customise their spaceships and use them in epic battles among the stars - you can check out some of them in action below.

Praised by the likes of TotalBiscuit, Kotaku and Rock Paper Shotgun, the game proved popular at PAX and already has a major update in the pipeline in order to make the frantic space skirmishes even better.

The tournament

The first 12 teams to sign up via the ESL site will receive four GoD Factory: Wingmen keys, one for each team member. Additional teams can also sign up to compete in the GoD Factory Kick Off Cup, but they won’t get any free keys. These teams will then compete on the 16th of November along with the others who signed up for a €200 grand prize.

Building on the feedback of these first pilots, we look to bring competitive play to the world of God Factory. Remember: only the first 12 teams to sign up will get GoD Factory: Wingmen keys, so get your friends and sign-up!
