We’re thrilled to introduce our new studio show format, 20 minutes of fame, starting this weekend, on Sunday, October 23rd, at 19:00 CEST. The show broadcasted live from the TakeTV studios in Krefeld, Germany will give viewers an overview over recent developments in the ESL esports world across competitions such as ESL One, Intel Extreme Masters and our various Pro Leagues, as well as shine some insight into new game releases and our amateur competitions taking place on ESL Play.
The show is set to have six initial episodes, spread over the coming six weeks, each airing on Sunday, 19:00 CEST on our main ESL Twitch channel. Hosting the show will be TakeTV’s Sebastian “JustBasti” von Blottnitz and ESL’s René “GRunner” Buttler. They will be joined by a variety of guest each week, based on the games covered during the segments. Each game segment will be 20 minutes long, hence the show title “20 minutes of fame”.
For the premier episode, the topics covered will range from ESL One New York 2016, new game releases and the ESL Play Mobile App to four specific game segments, featuring special guest appearances.
The games and guests featured in episode one will be:
-
Call of Duty/Crossfire/FIFA
- special guest - caster Philip “MoMo” Whitfield
-
Rainbow6
- featuring caster/analyst/coach Marius “Verdipwnz” Lauer
-
Hearthstone
- special guest - streamer/caster Daniel “Silasftw” Samuelsson
