Yesterday the world’s biggest CS:GO event kicked off with the group stages, with sixteen of the best teams from around the world gathering in Cologne to begin the battle for the Valve major victory. With an incredibly stacked lineup, we were bound to see tons of top-notch CS:GO action as teams gave their best to try and advance to the playoffs.
Four quarterfinal slots were up for grabs yesterday and were subsequently claimed by the big favorites of the tournament: Team SoloMid, Team EnVyUs, Virtus.pro and Fnatic. The remaining teams have been reshuffled in a group redraw and will continue their fight for the playoffs today.

The battle resumes today!
The group stage continues today after the redraw with the decider and elimination matches, with four additional teams to join Virtus.pro, TSM, EnVyUs and Fnatic in the quarterfinals and continue their battle for the ESL One championship title at the LANXESS Arena.
