This Friday, Intel Extreme Masters Cologne will see six League of Legends teams from around the world face off at the ESL studios for the lion’s share of a US$50,000 prize pool as well as the Intel Extreme Masters title and trophy. As well as this being the last Intel Extreme Masters event of the year, Intel Extreme Masters Cologne is also your last chance to prove your knowledge of the esports scene with ESL Fantasy - do you have what it takes?
How it works
This edition of ESL Fantasy for Intel Extreme Masters Cologne is a bracket challenge, meaning managers have to try and predict the correct winner and score of all tournament matchups in order to gain points.
You can earn fantasy points in the following ways:
- 3 points for predicting the winning team correctly
- 2 additional points if you also predict the winning team and scores correctly
Predictions can be altered right up until the relevant match starts, and new managers can join in at any time (although they won’t be able to make predictions for matches that have already been played).
Private leagues
If you’d rather face off against an elite few as opposed to the entirety of the ESL Fantasy league, you can always make a private league. You can make as many private leagues with as many members as you want, with points earned in exactly the same way as they are in the main fantasy league. Private leagues are a great way to prove that your League of Legends knowledge exceeds that of your friends, so make sure you pick your opponents carefully!
