All through June, ESL’s brand new game integration system has been being tested with you in both cups and our VERSUS 5vs5 game mode, not only helping you play your matches but also providing servers by gamed!de and support from ESL Anti-Cheat. Now these tests are complete and we are moving forward, introducing the new and improved game integration to all parts of play on ESL.
What does this mean for you?
Previously, players needed to a server to play their matches on. However, from now on ESL will be providing you with servers for your matches in cups as well as VERSUS. Hosted by our partner gamed!de, you will now get to play on servers running at a 128 tick rate.
To get the system working even better, we invite you to join ESL staff and players from all over Europe every evening from 19:00 CEST. Come play with and against the ESL family and help fine tune ESL’s game integration for the best possible gaming experience for everyone.
Florian “bLackhawk” Schiekel, ESL senior community manager, said of ESL’s new game integration and its ongoing development:
“We are very happy with the latest steps we took in the development of ESL’s game integration - not having any problems with servers during cups will be a huge help for both players and admins.
As per community request, the latest update enables you to have players from your team other than those in your lineup connect and play, and we already have further plans for future developments. Adding the missing parts of the game section is a high priority for us, and your feedback is always welcome!”
Come and test ESL’s new game integration system with us either on VERSUS or in one of the upcoming CS:GO cups, and be sure to follow ESL Counter-Strike on Twitter and Facebook to receive updates on ESL cups, tournaments and events!
