ESL: What was your most memorable moment from the Season 3 qualifiers? Why does it stand out among the rest of your experiences this season?
SonicFox: I never really had a memorable moment in Season 3. All I did was play my cards correctly and win 3 ESL leagues in a row to make it out here!
ESL: With the Finals quickly approaching, how have you been preparing?
SonicFox: I actually haven't been preparing as much as I should be heh. The Overwatch grind and Skullgirls grind took over for a bit, but that is very typical for me as a player of this game. I usually never practice days before the actual big event. I may practice a combo here and there but overall I don't touch it much unless people want to play casuals.
ESL: Who would you say is your biggest threat?
SonicFox: Scar and F0xy Grampa free are my biggest threats. I seem to always have Dragon's number and he knows it heh (love you dragon!), but I don't want to come across F0xy or Scar. They are such amazing players with their characters it’s crazy.
ESL: Who are you looking forward to facing the most in the Finals?
SonicFox: I want to play Scar in the finals again. We have a good friendship and we have played in the grand finals before in the MKX Pro League Season 2 Finals, so I would love for us to do it again. I would also love to play Dragon as well since this is his first time making it out here. I know he will be satisfied if he gets anywhere within Top 4.
ESL: What is your goal now that you are competing in the Season 3 Finals?
SonicFox: My goal is to become the MKX Pro League Season 3 champion three times in a row. No mistakes. I AM defending my title.
