gamescom 2019 is right around the corner, and this year ESL will as usual be setting up camp at the prestigious convention for video games and esports. As is tradition a wide variety of esport tournaments will be organised and broadcasted from the venue, including games such as League of Legends, CS GO and more.
Hall 11.3 hosts the gamescom esports arena, the venue for some exciting local tournaments that will showcase the best talent from both Germany and the world, while Hall 8 will be the official ESL area. Featuring a stage which will host multiple tournaments, ESL have teamed up with sponsors McDonalds, Mercedes, SAP, paysafecard, 20th Century Fox, Techniker Krankenkasse and Vodafone for a range of booths and interactions. Finally, the ESL Shop in Hall 5.2 will display some of the fantastic merchandise that is on offer on our online store, allowing attendees to get their hands on some goodies straight away!

Wednesday 3pm-8pm:
Kicking off the tournaments in Hall 11.3 will be the Asphalt esports Series Grand Finals, which will see the top players from around the world compete for a 20,000 Euro prize pool. As the most downloaded mobile racing franchise ever, the Grand Final promises to showcase the skills of some truly fantastic Asphalt 9 pros from Europe, North America and Asia, as well as giving them the opportunity to try out the new Porsche Form E car in game.
Thursday:10am-8pm:
Thursday will see the start of the ESL Meisterschaft CS Summer Championship in Hall 11.3; the Beat the Legends Showmatch by Paysafecard will be up first, with the Grande Finale taking place at 12:00 noon. From 4:15pm the ESL Meisterschaft LoL tournament will take place in Hall 8; Meisterschaft is the most prestigious tournament in the German scene.
