Intensive English Language Institute (IELI)

Creighton's IELI – established in 1979 – offers listening, reading, writing, and speaking courses for academic and professional purposes. Its calendar is divided into 8-week terms, allowing students to advance five levels in a year. Small class sizes, taught by experienced faculty with degrees in ESL, facilitate learning. Conditional acceptance to Creighton University may be granted to academically admissible students.

IELI students have access to all university facilities (recreation center, clubs, libraries and more), especially the university's computer/language lab facilities. Creighton's IELI is a member of the American Association of Intensive English Programs (AAIEP).
