PROGRAMS

Intensive English Program
The IEP has 4 levels from beginning to advanced. Students completing the IEP are eligible to transfer directly to an academic program at Brevard Community College without TOEFL. For more information on the IEP go to www.brevardcc.edu/iep or contact klimeka@brevardcc.edu.

Associate in Arts Degree
The AA degree is parallel to the first two years of a university degree. Students can complete their first two years of a bachelor degree at Brevard Community College and then transfer to their university of choice to complete the remaining two years for graduation.

Associate in Science & Applied Associate in Science Degree
These degrees are two-year technical programs. While some of these programs transfer to the university, they are primarily designed for the student who is planning to enter the workforce upon graduation from the community college.

Vocational Programs
Brevard Community College also offers several vocational certificates and specialized training courses that prepare the student for employment in a specific trade. These programs do not provide college credit or lead to any type of degree.

OUR LOCATION

Brevard Community College is located on the east coast of Florida just a few miles from beautiful beaches. We are approximately 45 miles (72 Kilometers) from Orlando and all of the attractions such as Disney World and Universal Studios.

Even though Brevard County is home to Kennedy Space Center, the nation's spaceport, and many high tech industries, it maintains a small town feel, providing a comfortable and safe environment for students.

Brevard Community College has 4 campuses - Cocoa, Melbourne, Palm Bay and Titusville. There is an international services office located at the Cocoa Campus and the Melbourne Campus.

Accredited through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, BCC is recognized as one of America's leading community colleges for quality in instruction, organization, and its innovative and leading-edge programs. The total number of Associate degrees awarded each year is in the top two percent in the nation.

STUDENT LIFE AND ACTIVITIES

In many ways, Brevard Community College is the cultural center of the Space Coast. BCC brings the arts and sciences to students and the community through a number of venues:
  • Student Organizations include various clubs that give students the opportunity to meet with others who share common interests, ranging from community service to psychology, multi-culturalism to academics, and the environment to religion.
  • Athletics at BCC are available through the college's competitive basketball, golf, softball, baseball or volleyball teams.
  • The King Center for the Performing Arts showcases internationally known entertainers, Broadway shows and the area's own Brevard Symphony Orchestra.
  • The Cocoa Village Playhouse offers musical and theatrical productions featuring local talent in a beautifully restored historic theater.
  • The Astronaut Memorial Planetarium and Observatory is one of the leading planetariums in Florida.
  • The Moore Multicultural Center promotes multicultural awareness and celebrates the diversity and contributions of all races, cultures, and religions.
  • WBCC-TV is BCC's non-commercial digital media center and television station. The educational station attracts nearly one million viewers in east central Florida who seek intellectual and cultural enrichment, and PBS programming.
