What Programs does the E.L.I. Offer?

1. Elective Courses

Focus: Academic
Courses:Grammar, Communication, Writing, Reading/Vocabulary
Levels: 1-6
Students must take 3 or 4 of the above courses. All classes are 75 minutes long and there is a 60 minute laboratory class for every subject.

Elective Courses:
TOEFL Preparation
IBT TOEFL Preparation
IELTS Preparation

Length:10 weeks
Total hours: 250
Academic Requirements: None
Minimum Age: 16

2. Summer Programs

Focus: Semi-Academic
Integrated Grammar/Conversation

Courses: Grammar and Conversation (Integrated)
Levels: 1-6
Daily Schedule: Monday -Thursday
9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Total hours: 64
Academic Requirements: None
Minimum age: 16

Note: The TOEFL Preparation course for the Summer Institute is only open to those students in high intermediate to advanced levels.

3. Immersion Program (Super Intensive)

Focus: Non-Academic
Immersion course in conversational English

Courses: Conversation only
Levels: Beginning, intermediate, and advanced
Daily Schedule: Monday - Friday
9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Total hours: 45
Academic Requirements: None
Minimum Age: 16
